The Partners Against Substance Abuse (PASA) program is a three-year initiative using a community-based model to provide outreach and prevention services, training and education, as well as counseling and treatment to address substance abuse problems in the community. The vision of the program is to reduce the use of alcohol and drugs among our youth, empower our youth for a life-time of growth and leadership development to become successful and responsible adults, create a mechanism to keep substance abuse a major priority to address in the community and workforce, and to engage our community to value and protect its youth.
Through sponsorships, the PASA will provide for train-the-trainer programs, outreach coordinators, outreach counseling for those impacted by substance abuse, curriculum and programs for school-age kids, tool-kits to provide to parents on how to talk to their kids, learning resources, and awareness building events, presentations, and shows. A number of Impact Opportunities are available.
Announcement of the PASA campaign will be unveiled at the VIP Dinner on December 2, 2008, at the Fayetteville Town Center. Corporate sponsors and individuals who are supporting the PASA will be recognized. For more information on becoming a corporate sponsor or individual sponsor, contact Dr. Nancy Hairson, 479-575-9471 or email nhairston@youthbridge.com.
