MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

Benton County, Carroll County, Mountain Home, Harrison

  • Licensed in social work or counseling to practice in the State of Arkansas.
  • Experience treating adolescent substance abuse a plus.
  • Experience with Medicaid and DYS.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plan in an outpatient setting

Youth Bridge, Inc. has been awarded Arkansas’ first Multisystemic Therapy (MST) grant from the Division of Youth Services   and is seeking mental health professionals, licensed in the state of Arkansas, to implement this MST Pilot Project in Benton, Carroll, and Washington/Madison Counties. MST is a well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their family.  Interested persons may locate information about this treatment model on the internet at www.mstservices.com.

MST SUPERVISOR

This position requires a professional with strong clinical training and the experience to lead a team of 3-4 therapists. Duties include  liaison with key collaborating agencies, providing ongoing evaluation and staff development for therapists, interfacing with MST expert consultants and providing overall program management.  Must be available for on-call support to therapists implementing MST with backup from other agency supervisory staff.  Specific experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and behaviorally-based marital and drug treatment therapy preferred.  PhD and 2-3 years of clinical supervisory-level experience preferred.  Competitive salary matched to experience of applicant.  Position will begin as part-time.
