Youth Bridge featured on KNWA’s “Doing Good” series

August 11th, 2010 . by Cody Ford

On Monday, Aug. 9, KNWA featured Youth Bridge as part of its “Doing Good” series. Laine Baker interviewed Adam Sieber, who is enrolled in Youth Bridge’s Substance Abuse outpatient program and Washington County Drug Court. Laine also spoke with Saima Chauhan, Substance Abuse Residential Treatment Director, and Lori Parker, a Youth Bridge/Drug Court Counselor. This is a great piece that shows how we help young people come to terms with addiction before its too late.

May 26th, 2010 . by Cody Ford

Youth Bridge recently received word that the Harris Foundation is donating $24,600 to Youth Bridge to assist with the costs of a new air-conditioning unit for our Benton County Shelter; funding for the health and dental care for our clients in the Transitional Living Program, and software to use for measuring our outcomes and that will assist us with our tracking of clients. THANK YOU!

Recent Funding

Youth Bridge has been so blessed over the last couple of months to receive $2000 from several Walmart Departments. Many of our recent grants have come as a result from the Volunteer Always Pays program. We thank the PMDC department for their generous gift of time and money! One member of our board, Kim Strickland gave a personal donation and through the Walmart Executive Mathching Gift Program, we received a generous $5000 gift. Thank you Kim and Walmart!

Walmart truly gives back to the community! Thank you Walmart.
