Facility-specific Needs

ZION HOUSE- This facility needs to be painted, bathroom remodels, and furniture needs. Matching bedding for 8 twin beds. Adopt a room program would work wonderful in this facility.

CENTLERTON FACILITY- School supplies, hygiene products- shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, make up, clothing (especially underclothes for both boys and girls), shoes, Dance Dance Revolution pads, appropriate video games and console, educational videos

TLP PROGRAMS- Mentors, interview clothes for both young men and young women, towel sets, brooms, mops, household supplies, baby stuff (will have 10 babies to provide for by Dec1) anything that can go into a house, incentive and outing gift certificates (movies, dinners out, bowling…) WAC tickets, diapers of all sizes, Christmas stuff, gas vouchers for adults to look for jobs, light bulbs, gym access, a self esteem booster- type class, mommy workshops, pots, pans, dishes, CARS, DIAPERS, shoes, make up

CLINICAL- Needs a used car for the home visit counselor. Office supplies, pens, pencils, Copy paper, volunteers

CARROLL COUNTY OFFICE- TV/vcr/dvd combos, dry erase board and a bulletin board, NEW educational Alcohol/Drug videos, “My Name is Bill W.” video, gas cards to go see clients

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY- Heavy duty furniture, picnic tables, hygiene products, school supplies, A Nintendo Wii, new bedding sets (comforters/sheets/pillow cases), socks underwear, shoes, hoodies or sweaters, gloves,(clothing preferably in grey or neutral colors because of gangs), box fan, thermal underwear and board games, boxing gloves, boxing bag (for outdoors)

Monetary Needs

DISCRETIONARY FUNDS- To supply for:

  • Educational Materials/ School Supplies
  • Transportation/Gas
  • Hygiene Supplies
  • Salaries
  • Recreation/Museum trips, fine arts tickets, sporting events, concerts
  • Clothing/underclothes, jackets, shoes, jeans ,shirts, interview clothing
  • Baby Supplies/diapers, bottles ,toys, formula, baby food, clothing
  • Medical/Dental/Physical health visits and medications

TRAINING FUND- CPR and First Aid, Crime Prevention, Street Law, Anger Management, Parenting Classes, and Truancy Classes. These classes will be used to train our staff and clients.

EDUCATION FUND- We are in need of an on-site teacher for our kids at the Centerton Emergency Shelter, this position will cost approximately $48,000 annually.

EDUCATION MATERIALS FUND- This would be used to provide educational classes, art supplies, school supplies, computers and computer equipment, transportation to college, books for college, and scholarship funds to clients excelling in school.

TECHNOLOGY FUND- This would include anything that had to do with the computer and networking system currently used to keep all the facilities and offices connected.

OUTINGS FUND- This would include trips to museums, shows, and ballgames, picnics at the lake, state parks, cultural festivals and educational outings. Could also be donated in the form of tickets for an event, etc.

BABY FUND- This would include any expense associated with services that we provide to mothers in our programs. Diapers, bottles, clothing, toys, formula, food, and bedding are just a few of the related expenses that we currently provide.

Other Needs

LANDSCAPING NEEDS- These includes the removal of dead trees and vegetation and the preservation and upkeep of the remaining trees on the properties.
